Caporusso led Michigan with 21 goals and was second on the team with 43 points in 2009-2010, his junior season.

The Woodbridge, Ontario native was a Hobey Baker Award top ten finalist in 2008-2009, as Caporusso topped Michigan with 24 goals and posted 25 assists for 49 points, both second on the Wolverines. Caporusso was named the team's MVP for his sophomore season.

As a freshman, Caporusso scored 12 goals and added nine assists for 21 points.

Caporusso was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the third round (90th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Jackals host the Trenton Titans in the 2011-2012 season opener tonight at 7:35 p.m. at First Arena.
