Jackals Gain Gratchev Entering Weekend

The Elmira Jackals announced Thursday that forward Maxime Gratchev has been returned to the team from his loan to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Gratchev practiced Thursday with the Jackals in preparation for Friday's game at the Johnstown Chiefs.

In 17 games with the Jackals in 2009-2010, Gratchev has 21 points (7g-14a). His 14 assists tie him for third among rookies.

Gratchev notched his first AHL goal on Dec. 4 in a 5-0 Senators victory over the Syracuse Crunch, accounting for his only point in four games with Binghamton this season.
