Ryan Schnell On Power Hour

Wheeling, WV - Nailers rookie forward and tough guy Ryan Schnell will join host Bob Rotruck and head coach Greg Puhalski for tonight's edition of the Nailers Power Hour live from Generations Pub and Restaurant in Wheeling.

The show airs from 6-7pm on The Mix 97.3fm and the Nailers Hockey Network presented by Amica Insurance.

Schnell is 2nd on the Nailers in penalty minutes with 68 which is also 2nd among ECHL rookies. His 8 major penalties are 1st among the Nailers and 6th in the league overall. The 20-year-old from Cary, Illinois has not been bashful about mixing it up with more experienced ECHL'ers.

Greg Puhalski will talk about his return to his professional hockey home of Toledo where he began his career for seven seasons as a player and head coach for the Toledo Storm. Wednesday night was his first game coaching or playing for the opposition AGAINST a Toledo team.

We'll also recap a successful week for the Nailers that includes a 3-game win-streak in which the Nailers have outscored their opponents by a combined 18-4. Most recently, the Nailers scored 7 goals for the 2nd time this week in a 7-3 win at Toledo. Wheeling also reached lucky 7 last Saturday night in a 7-0 win over Johnstown led by Thomas Beauregard's hat-trick.

The streak has pulled the Nailers to the.500 mark at 11-11-2 as they have been leap-frogging past one opponent then another moving up the American Conference standings.

We'll also preview three games in three days for the Nailers this weekend including home games vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
