
Toledo's Piche Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that Toledo defenseman Sebastien Piche has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #224 against Wheeling on Dec. 9.
Piche was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing at 15:10 of the second period.
He is suspended and fined under Rule 29 - Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Piche will miss Toledo's game at Kalamazoo (Dec. 11).
