Little Falls, NJ- The New Jersey Jackals enjoyed their first official off day of the 2004 season on Thursday June 10, 2004. Coming into Friday, the Jackals are 5-8, sitting only two and half games behind the New Haven County Cutters for the lead in the South Division
The Jackals finished off a three game series versus the Brockton Rox with a 7-3 victory on Wednesday. New Jersey took the series by winning the final two games.
New Jersey will open a three-game set against the Northeast League Aces, starting on Friday June 11, 2004. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m on Friday. Saturday will also be a 7:05 start, and Sunday's first pitch is scheduled for 2:05 p.m.
The Aces are now 3-11, but snapped Quebec's eight game winning streak on Thursday evening with a convincing victory.
Upcoming events scheduled for this weekend include a Girl Scout Sleepover on Friday and Little League Night on Saturday where the first 1,500 fans will receive a New Jersey Jackals T-Shirt. Sunday is also Teacher Appreciation Day, when admission is free for all teachers.
