(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes swept their three road games last week and remain in first place in the CHL's Southern Conference.

Last Week's Record: 3-0-0

Season Record: 8-1-1

Thursday @ Corpus Christi, 4-3 Win

Juha Toivonen made 37 saves and four different Jackalopes scored as Odessa improved to 3-0-0 on the season against the IceRays. All three games have been decided by one goal this season - two in a shootout.

Friday @ Bossier-Shreveport, 4-1 Win

The Jacks snapped a seven-year losing streak against the Mudbugs with the win - Odessa's first against Bossier-Shreveport since December 21, 2002. All four of Odessa's goals came on the power play.

Saturday @ Bossier-Shreveport, 4-1 Win

Alex Dunn recorded a three-point night (one goal, two assists), Kenny Bernard extended his goal-scoring streak and Phil Plante extended his assist streak to seven games each. It was the Jacks eighth straight game with a power play goal.

Friday vs. Rio Grande Valley, 7:05 PM

It's the second meeting of the season between the Jacks and Killer Bees. Odessa won the first meeting, 7-0, after scoring a season-high five power play goals. Juha Toivonen picked up Odessa's only shutout of the season in the win.

Saturday vs. Amarillo, 7:05 PM

Amarillo handed Odessa their only regulation loss of the season back on October 17th, as the two teams have split their pair of meetings this year. In their last contest, the Jackalopes offense put up nine goals in a 9-4 win over the Gorillas.

The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
