Jackalopes Announce Roster for Regular Season Opener

ODESSA, TX - As they prepare to begin the 2010-11 regular season Friday in Missouri, the Odessa Jackalopes have set their roster to open the year.
19 players are on the team's active roster, and 18 players are allowed to dress for games. Garrett Gruenke, Dominic Leveille, and Dave Van Drunen all will start the season in the Injured Reserve list, and do not count towards a roster spot. Jean Bourbeau and Joel Martin are still competing with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Odessa's American Hockey League affiliate. Bourbeau and Martin do not occupy an active roster spot as well.

The Jackalopes begin their season tomorrow in Missouri against the Mavericks. The team's first home game will be on October 28th against the visiting Laredo Bucks. Every game this season can be heard live on Classic Rock 102.1 FM.
The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
