
Ivan Telegin Named OHL Rookie Of The Month

(Saginaw, MI) Saginaw Spirit forward Ivan Telegin has been named the Ontario Hockey League Rookie of the Month for October. The 92-born center posted 7 goals and 9 assists during October, which included two three points games in the final weekend of the month.
Telegin has tallied 10 goals and 10 assists in 16 games this season; he enters the week plus-six. He also posted a nine game consecutive point streak (September 19, 2009 to October 16, 2009) to start the season. Telegin, a native of Novokuznetsk Russia, was chosen by the Spirit 42nd overall in the 2009 CHL Import Draft. He enters the summer a top ranked NHL prospect.
