Majors Trade McFadden To Sudbury

The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors have traded defenseman Josh McFadden to the Sudbury Wolves in exchange for a fifth round pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection.

McFadden, 18, has appeared in 16 games for the Majors this season, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points. The 6'0", 200 lb., defenseman was drafted by the Majors in the 9th round of the 2007 OHL Priority Selection (163rd overall). After playing the 2007-2008 season with the Guelph Jr. Storm Midget AAA team, McFadden cracked the Majors roster for the 08-09 season. He appeared in 47 games registering a goal and 6 assists. He also dressed for 6 post season games and scored one goal.
