Sevierville, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies (33-26) began an eight game homestand Thursday night with a 6-4 loss to the Carolina Mudcats (34-23). With the win Carolina extended its Eastern Division lead over Tennessee to two games with 11 remaining the season's first half.
Jason Isringhausen began his rehab assignment with the Smokies with a strong performance.
