Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Pigs (6-6) play the finale of a seven-game road trip and a four-game series against the first-place Pawtucket Red Sox (10-3), who own the best record in the International League... With a 6-1 loss last night, the Pigs were unable to record their first three-game winning streak of the season. Still, they've gone an impressive 4-2 on this seven-game, North Division road trip... The Paw Sox -- Boston's top affiliate -- rebounded from their first two-game skid of the season with Wednesday's victory.
LHP Adam Morgan (1-0, 1.29) will start for LHV against RHP Rubby De La Rosa (0-0, 11.57).
First-pitch is scheduled for 12:05 p.m.
* The Pigs clinched a winning road trip... not bad, considering Syracuse entered that series 5-1 & Pawtucket began this series 9-1.
* The Pigs next return home for a four-game homestand against Buffalo on Friday before heading West for an eight-game road trip.
