The IronPigs (66-58) play Game One of a four-game series against the sixth-place Buffalo Bisons (59-64) at Coca-Cola Field... With a 5-3 win over Rochester last night, the Pigs split the two-game series with the Red Wings and finished to 3-3 on their six-game, North Division homestand. The Pigs still have dropped five of their last eight games and, since July 6, have gone just 15-22 in their last 37 contests -- going from a season-high 3.0-games up to 3.5-games back in the North...Buffalo -- the Mets' top affiliate -- lost to Pawtucket last night, 9-1, to split a two-game home series. Buffalo has now dumped five of its last seven games. Once 49-45 on July 14, the Bisons have gone just 10-19 in their last 29 affairs.

RHP Tyson Brummett (3-2, 3.50) will make his fourth spot-start of the season for LHV against RHP Jeurys Familia (7-7, 4.98).

Last night, RHP Tyler Cloyd became the winningest pitcher in the Minors this season -- as his 15th win overall snapped a tie with Modesto's Christian Bergman... He also became the winningest pitcher in LHV single-single history -- as his 12th win with LHV moved him ahead of Drew Carpenter (2009)... In addition, the 25-year-old has won 8 straight decision -- adding to his LHV record (prev. 6, Drew Carpenter '09)... The IL's All-Star Starter is 8-0, 2.11 ERA in his last 13 GS (85.1/20).
