Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs (43-30) play Game Two of a four-game series against the second-place Columbus Clippers (35-40) at Huntington Park... With a 9-4 win last night, the Pigs have won three consecutive games and have started 4-1 on this eight-game, West Division road trip. In addition, the Pigs have now won 12 of their last 16 games and are 15-6 in their last 21 contests... The Clippers -- Cleveland's top affiliate -- have dropped back-to-back games. The reigning Triple-A champs are 8-7 in their last 15 games; but after starting 17-13, they've gone just 18-27 in their 45 affairs since May 8.

RHP Tyler Cloyd (7-1, 2.37) will start for LHV against RHP Zach McAllister (5-2, 2.98).

First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.

THE JEFFERSONS (MOVIN' ON UP!):

The Pigs have won 5 of their last 6 games. Meanwhile, first-place Pawtucket has lost 5 in a row -- so Lehigh Valley has pulled from 5.0 GB in the North Division to 1.0 GB, the closest they've been to first place since they were 0.5 GB on 5/22 (a span of 27 G)... In addition, SWB has also dropped 5 in row and BUF has dropped 3 in a row -- giving LHV a 4.0 and 6.0 buffer for 2nd, respectively.
