IronPigs Game Notes
April 18, 2012 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (10-3) play Game Three of a four-game series against the Buffalo Bisons (6-7) at Coca-Cola Field... With a 4-1 loss last night, the Pigs had their season-high, six-game winning streak snapped one game shy of tying the franchise record set in June 2009. Even so, the Pigs have won six of their last seven contests and continue to own the best record in the International League (Gwinnett is 9-4)... The Bisons -- the Mets' top affiliate -- improved to 3-4 on this current nine-game homestand. Still, Buffalo has gone just 3-6 after starting the season 3-1
LHP Tom Cochran (2-0, 5.23) will start for LHV against RHP Jeremy Hefner (1-1, 3.18).
First-Pitch is at 6:05 p.m... A reminder that tomorrow's finale starts at 1:05 p.m...
LHV will look to bounce-back tonight to avoid losing back-to-back games for the first time since dropping four straight 8/29/11-8/30/11.
