Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The first-place IronPigs (67-52) -- still tied with Pawtucket atop the North Division* -- play the finale of a four-game series against the South's last-place Norfolk Tides (43-74). With a 5-4 walk-off loss last night, the Pigs snapped a two-game winning streak and fell to 5-5 on this season-long, 11-game road trip. They've dropped nine of their last 14 contests and are just 26-28 since June 16... The Tides -- Baltimore's top affiliate -- halted a three-game skid, but remain just 9-23 since July 4 and have the worst record in the I.L. by 3.0 games over Rochester...
First-pitch is at 12:15 p.m.
The Pigs next return for a six-game homestand that starts on Friday against Toledo (56-63).
