Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
he first-place IronPigs (62-46) play the finale of a mini two-game series against the fifth-place Buffalo Bisons (45-63). With a 2-1 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped three in row following their five-game winning streak and fell to 5-4 on this season-long, 10-game home stand... Still, they've also won six of their last 10 contests following a 15-18 skid (6/16-7/20). Their lead remains at 2.0-games in the North Division. ... The Bisons -- the Mets' top affiliate -- have now won back-to-back games for the first time since July 14-15 (a span of 17 games). Still, the Bisons have dropped nine of their last 13 affairs and are just 9-17 in the month of July (when the Pigs last arrived in Buffalo)...
