The fifth-place IronPigs (45-66) return home for an eight-game homestand with Game One of a four-game series against the South's fourth-place Gwinnett Braves (52-58) -- Atlanta's top affiliate. With a 6-1 win Tuesday, the Pigs snapped their season-long, eight-game losing streak to take the finale of a four-game series in Buffalo. The skid came after the Pigs had won six of seven... Gwinnett lost, 2-1, Tuesday to split a four-game home series against Toledo. The Braves have won six of their last eight contests; but after getting within one game of .500 in July 3 (41-42), they went 5-14 until this recent surge.

RHP Drew Carpenter (7-7, 3.61) will start for LHV against LHP Jose Ortegano (2-8, 6.55).

First-pitch is at 7:05 p.m. for Brian Schneider K-Kids Bobblehead Night, presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.
