VERSUS HUDSON VALLEY:

The ‘Birds are 5-6 against the Renegades this season and open up the final series with Hudson Valley tonight. The ‘Birds lost last night's shortened match up 2-0.

GIVE ME MORELAND:

Kenny Moreland will take the mound tonight looking to continue his success against Hudson Valley. Moreland improved to 5-1 on the year after beating the Renegades 2-0 on July 26. Moreland's last start was the first time Moreland had faced the Renegades.

MOONEY HITS IT OFF:

Mike Mooney was the only Ironbird to have a multi-hit game last night Mooney was responsible for two of Aberdeen's three hits in the short contest that was delayed due to rain.

CAROLUS LEADING THE WAY:

Levi Carolus is currently leading the team in five offensive categories: average, RBI, doubles, stolen bases and slugging percentage. Carolus is currently riding a 3-game hit streak continuing his recent success on this road trip.

HITTING NUGGETS:

The ‘Birds have two players currently on hitting streaks: Steve Bumbry and Jason Rook. Bumbry and Rook's streaks are currently at two games a piece. Rook is currently hitting .241, while Bumbry is hitting .179.

SEXTON STRIKES:

Tyler Sexton pitched a solid outing last night but went home with the loss despite only giving up two runs to the Renegades. Sexton struck out six, while only walking three. Sexton also only allowed the Renegades to pick up four hits.

HOME WOES:

The ‘Birds are only 7-11 at home this season. This is the fourth series the ‘Birds have hosted versus the Renegades this season. The ‘Birds look to improve on both record as they host Hudson Valley tonight.
