JAMESTOWN, NY - The State College Spikes scored twice in the top of the eighth inning to defeat the Jamestown Jammers, 3-2, in game one of a doubleheader at Russell Diethrick Park on Thursday night.
Justin Byler's bases-loaded walk and Pat Irvine's RBI fielder's choice provided the eventual game-winning runs in the first of two games scheduled for seven innings. Brock Holt went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base.
