Iowa Barnstormers News Release

CHICAGO - Iowa Barnstormers wide receiver Darius Reynolds has been voted AFL MVP for Week 12 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season.

Reynolds (6-2, 205, Iowa State) snagged six passes for 123 yards and four touchdowns in a 58-48 win over the Orlando Predators last week. The four touchdown receptions represent a new season-high for Reynolds, who has now caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive contests. Reynolds is in the midst of the best statistical season of his three-year career, having hauled in 68 catches for 946 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2014.

Fans had 24 hours to vote for the AFL MVP award on ArenaFootball.com. Reynolds took home 56 percent of the fan vote, beating out fellow candidates Tyrone Goard of the Pittsburgh Power and Rod Windsor of the Arizona Rattlers.

Reynolds and the Barnstormers (6-5) will be back on the field this Saturday night against the Cleveland Gladiators (9-1) in "NET10 Wireless Arena Football Saturday" action on CBS Sports Network. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET.
