
Iowa Wolves Snap Losing Streak With 118-102 Win Over The Wisconsin Herd

DES MOINES, Iowa
- The Iowa Wolves (3-3) snapped a three-game losing streak with an 118-102 win over the Wisconsin Herd (4-4) on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
Luka Garza equaled his season-high with 30 points and added eight rebounds and a season-high six assists for the Wolves. Emmanuel Mudiay
scored a season-high 25 points while Josh Minott had 21 points. D.J. Carton returned to the court after missing the last game and finished with 12 points off the bench.
Cedar Falls native and former UNI standout AJ Green paced the Herd with 23 points off the bench. Green who finished 9-of-15 shooting, knocked
down five three-pointers and added six rebounds. Fellow two-way Sandro Mamukelashvili recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Former Iowa standout Joe Wieskamp did not dress for the Herd due to injury.
Iowa turned a five-point halftime lead into a double-digit advantage in the third and carried it over into the final period as every available
Wolves player earned court time in the win.
Sunday's series finale between the teams will be a 3 p.m. CT. tipoff.
