Iowa Wolves Return to Wells Fargo Sunday

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, return home to Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday afternoon to play the Texas Legends at 4 p.m. CT. Sunday's game is the first in a two-game home series against the Dallas Mavericks' affiliate with the series finale set for Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. CT. Tickets for both games can be purchased here.

Sunday is the 2022 Winter Hat giveaway sponsored by MidAmerican Energy with the first 1,000 fans receiving an Iowa Wolves winter hat. It is also Hoops and Howls where dog owners are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the game. Special dog tickets cost $16 with $6 going to the ARL. Dogs do not need a ticket, just their owners! The first 200 guests with a dog will receive an Iowa Wolves waste bag holder.

Tuesday night at 6 p.m. is the Wolves' first Hoops and Hops event with Exile Brewing Company on tap. For $40, guests receive one floor level ticket to the game, four pints of Exile beer, a commemorative pint glass and snacks and appetizers.

On the court, Iowa (4-1) is off to a hot start to the regular season. The Wolves, winners of four of their first five games after the G League's restart, are currently in second place in the Western Conference. The Wolves' lone loss came at first-place leader, Agua Caliente (5-0), this past Tuesday night.

Texas (3-2) is currently one spot back of the Wolves in the Western standings. The Legends are scheduled to play at Oklahoma City tonight at 7 p.m. CT.

Following the two home games, Iowa returns to California where it will have a rematch with the Clippers on Jan. 27 at 9 p.m. CT and play at the Stockton Kings on Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. CT.
