
Iowa Wolves Fall in Road Trip Finale

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Kings defeated the Iowa Wolves, 126-107, on Sunday afternoon at the Adventist Health Arena.
Six players scored in double figures for Iowa (6-20), which lost its fifth-straight game. Trevor Keels led all scorers with a game-high 27 points while Tyrese Martin added 19 points. Lance Stephenson had 15 points, Giorgi Bezhanishvili had 14 points and Javonte Cooke and Leonard Miller each had 13 points.
Stockton (18-9), which won its third consecutive game, moved into first place in the NBA G League Western Conference standings with the win and Sioux Falls loss to Salt Lake City. The Kings poured in 21 threes as a team with Jordan Ford and Jaylen Nowell each making six. Ford dropped in 25 points while Nowell had 22 points.
Bezhanishvili's short hook shot at the 4:24 mark in the first quarter gave Iowa its largest lead at 27-19. But Gabe Levin and Nowell partnered for a combined 13-0 run that included three three-pointers by Nowell. The Wolves trailed the rest of the game falling behind by as many as 26 in the third quarter.
Iowa, which closed a season-high five game road trip Sunday, returns home to Wells Fargo Arena Tuesday and Wednesday nights for a back-to-back with the Oklahoma City Blue. Both games will tip at 7 p.m. CT.
