
Iowa Signs Forward Dmitry Sokolov to ATO

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr on Thursday announced the AHL club has signed Dmitry Sokolov (so-co-lahv) to an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO).
Sokolov, 18 (4/14/98) turns pro after completing his second season in Canadian juniors. The 6-foot, 200-pound winger scored 48 goals with the Sudbury Wolves this past season. He led the team in goals and amassed a team high 72 points in 64 games played. Over the course of the last two seasons, the Omsk, Russia native has 78 goals and 124 points in 132 OHL games. Sokolov was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the seventh round (#196 overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.
Iowa welcomes the Rockford IceHogs to Wells Fargo Arena on Thursday, April 6 at 7 PM. There is a career fair prior to the game at Wells Fargo Arena. Fans may bring in their Subway receipt to purchase a ticket for only $5.
Iowa hosts the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday, April 9 at 5 PM. Home improvement and Go Green night are presented by MidAmerican Energy. The first 1,500 fans to arrive at the game receive tote bags sponsored by Star 102.5 and Fast Signs. Following the conclusion of the game, there is a postgame skate for fans. Skates may be rented for $2 with the proceeds benefitting the American Diabetes Association. Subway combo packs are available for purchase at the game.

The Iowa Wild 2016-17 season is presented by Mercy Medical Center: and runs from October through April. Fans may purchase seats to see any of the team's 38 regular season home games at Wells Fargo Arena. Season tickets to see the Wild play its 2016-17 season at Wells Fargo Arena start at just $10 per game. The Wells Fargo Arena box office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday. For Saturday game days, the box office will open at 10 a.m. For Sunday game days the box office will open at 12 p.m. Fans may also purchase tickets by calling 1-844-55-HYVEE or by visiting participating Hy-Vee food stores locations in the greater Des Moines area.
