Iowa Energy Defeat Tulsa 66ers 123-102

TULSA, Okla. - The Iowa Energy defeated the Tulsa 66ers, 123-102, on Saturday night inside the SpiritBank Event Center.

The Energy had players in double figures, led by Othyus Jeffers with 29 points and 17 rebounds. Moses Ehambe had 29 points, shooting 7 of 12 from 3-point range. Jarvis Varnado added 18 points and 14 boards. The Energy had big contributors off the bench, including Chris Allen with 15 points, and Augustus Gilchrist with 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 blocked shots.

Tulsa's Ben Uzoh collected his first double-double of the year with 17 points and 10 boards while Larry Owens added 16 points. As a team, the 66ers distributed 18 assists, including six from Uzoh.

The Energy get victories in the first two games of a five game road trip to begin the year. Iowa will travel to Sioux Falls on Friday, November 29 to take on the SkyForce.
