Iowa Barnstormers Announce Coaches Clinic

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers have announced their first Annual Coaches Clinic to be held on Saturday, February 11 at the Iowa Events Center.

The first Annual Iowa Barnstormers Coaches Clinic is designed and developed for coaches of all levels including elementary school, middle school, high school, club, and college with a focus on education, networking, and community.

The clinic will be led by the Iowa Barnstormers coaching staff, including Head Coach Dave Mogensen and Defensive Coordinator Jermaine Hampton and will feature guest speakers and vendors. In addition to hearing from Barnstormers coaches, attendees can look forward to hearing from speakers representing Drake University, Waldorf College, Dordt University, Luther College, and Clarke University. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.

"I am so excited to put together this first Annual Barnstormers Coaches Clinic," said Coach Mogensen. "It is going to be great to meet and bring together all the area coaches from youth to high school, college, and our pro staff. We have partnered with numerous Iowa Colleges and Universities to bring reps from their coaching staffs to share ideas and network, that along with opening the door for relationships with myself and the Barnstormers will make for an incredible day. The football coaches fraternity is full of selfless men and women, the sharing of ideas and the networking of the clinic allows for continued professional growth for all of us."

The First Annual Iowa Barnstormers Clinic will begin with check-in on Saturday, February 11 at 8:00 a.m. outside of Room 314 in the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center. Cost of the clinic is $45 per person. Registration includes access to the full day of speakers, one-on-one opportunities during breakout sessions, continental breakfast provided by Kelly's Little Nipper, and a gift from the Barnstormers.
