Iowa Barnstormers Announce 2022 Schedule

DES MOINES - The Iowa Barnstormers and the Indoor Football League (IFL) are pleased to announce their 2022 season schedule. The Barnstormers will open the season on the road on March 18.

The 2022 IFL season marks the league's 14th season of play and will feature a 16 regular-season game schedule. The league is also welcoming one new member team this season with the addition of the Las Vegas Knight Hawks. This season also marks the return of the Bay Area Panthers, Quad City Steamwheelers, and San Diego Strikeforce.

This season, the IFL will be separating into two conferences where the top four teams in each conference will qualify for the 2022 playoffs.

The Barnstormers 2022 home schedule will consist of eight total regular season home games. The Barnstormers home opener will take place on Saturday, April 2 with a matchup versus the Green Bay Blizzard. The home schedule also hosts the Green Bay Blizzard again on May 27, the Sioux Falls Storm (April 16, June 4), Massachusetts Pirates (May 7), Bismarck Bucks (May 14), Frisco Fighters (June 18), and closes with the Quad City Steamwheelers (July 2).

The Barnstormers will be traveling a total of eight times in 2022, kicking off the season on the road against the Quad City Steamwheelers on Friday, March 18. The season also includes travel to the Sioux Falls Storm (March 28, May 1), Green Bay Blizzard (May 20), Massachusetts Pirates (April 23), Bismarck Bucks (June 25), Frisco Fighters (July 9), and will close the regular season as it opened on the road against the Quad City Steamwheelers (July 16).

Once again this season, all Iowa Barnstormers home games will be played at Wells Fargo Arena in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.

Season Tickets for the 2022 Iowa Barnstormers season are available now. Fans can purchase season tickets for as low as $96 per seat by calling the Barnstormers front office at 515-633-2255.
