2022 Arizona Rattlers Schedule Announced

PHOENIX - The Indoor Football League announced the regular season schedule for 2022. Another exciting indoor football season kicks off the weekend of March 19 and will include 16 regular season games before the two conferences face off in postseason play.

The Arizona Rattlers will play eight regular season home games in downtown Phoenix celebrating their 29th year in the building. Fans will be welcomed back to the Footprint Center for the season and home opener on Saturday, March 19 at 6:05 p.m. when the team hosts the Duke City Gladiators. After defeating the Gladiators in the semi-final game last season, the Rattlers are 3-0 when facing the Albuquerque squad. The Gladiators joined the IFL in 2020 after winning back-to-back championships in the Champions Indoor Football League. The Rattlers are scheduled to face Duke City for three more in 2022.

Arizona will then travel the next three weeks to visit new adversaries in San Diego and Las Vegas (Henderson). The San Diego Strike Force will be returning to the IFL after going dormant in 2021 and the Vegas Knight Hawks emerge as the newest expansion team to the league rounding out 15 total teams for the season.

On May 14, the Rattlers will start a three-week homestand in Phoenix. The 2021 United Bowl Champions (Massachusetts Pirates) are the first to visit for a much-anticipated rematch. Immediately following, the Frisco Fighters will fly to the Snake Pit with kickoff on Saturday, May 21 at 6:05 p.m. When the Fighters visited Arizona for the final regular season game of the 2021season, downtown Phoenix welcomed a season-high attendance as the #1 seed was on the line.

All Arizona Rattlers 2022 regular season home games will take place at the Footprint Center. Five games are scheduled for kickoff at 6:05pm on Saturdays, one Friday night showdown at 7:05pm and two Sunday matinees at 3:05pm. Secure the best seats in the Snake Pit with season tickets.
