
Intimidators Return Saturday, April 24th For Eight Games

KANNAPOLIS, NC - After eight straight games on the road, the Kannapolis Intimidators return home for eight games at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium beginning on Saturday, April 24th at 7:05 pm and running through Saturday May 1st.
On Saturday, April 24th at 7:05 pm, the Intimidators welcome the West Virginia Power (Pittsburgh Pirates) to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium for a four-game series. Fans are encouraged to arrive early as the Intimidators will be hosting their annual BBQ Bash sponsored by Coors Light at 5 pm. Teams will be participating in a BBQ contest and fans will be allowed to sample their offerings for just $5 with the proceeds benefitting the Joan Roberts Foundation for Ovarian Cancer. After the game, there will be a post-game fireworks show. It's also Girl Scout Night and City of Concord night.
On Sunday, April 25th at 5:05 pm it's game two of the series and since its Sunday, it's a Family Fun Day. There will be players available for autographs, in-game activities for kids and post-game kids run the bases. There will also be a Wedding Showcase, sponsored by Classic Bride and Formals.
The series continues on Monday, April 26th at 7:05 pm and as a Monday, it's a Belly Buster Monday with all-you-can-eat at the main concession stand, excluding candy, ice cream and drinks, for just $10.
The series concludes on Tuesday, April 27th at 10:05 am and it's the second Education Day, sponsored by Just the Thing. Take this opportunity to enjoy morning baseball at The Cannon. Every Tuesday is also a KRAFT Singles Tuesday with the KRAFT Singles Tuesday Ticket Offer. Fans who bring in a proof of purchase from KRAFT Singles cheese will receive two-for-one tickets at the Intimidators Ticket Office,
On Wednesday, April 28th at 7:05 pm, the Intimidators welcome the defending South Atlantic League Champion Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies) to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium for a 7:05 pm game. It's a Wet-Your-Whistle Wednesday with drink specials, a Craft Beer Tasting event, Ladies Night, presented by Mary Kay and Nine Inning of Networking where one low price allows business people to have an all-you-can-eat buffet and network with fellow area business people.
Thursday's game on April 29th begins at 7:05 pm and it's a Thirsty Thursday presented by Fatz Café. There will be discounted beer and soda as well as food specials including 50 cent Pizza Hut Wing Street Wings and Fatz Café Calabash Chicken. It's also Apartment Night with various local apartments on hand to provide information and New Rock Night, sponsored by 106.5 The End.
On Friday, April 30th at 7:05 pm the Intimidators will host game three of the series. After the game there will be a post-game fireworks display presented by East Coast Pyrotechnics. It is also NASCAR Speedpark Night with a T-Shirt giveaway to the first 100 fans. Additionally, it is a Sundrop Can Drop-off Night where six empty cans of Sundrop gets you a free GA ticket, WKKT 96.9 Military Night and a Friday Night Fish Fry.
The eight-game homestand concludes on Saturday, May 1st at 7:05 pm as there will be another post-game fireworks show thanks to Rowan Regional Medical Center. The first 1,000 fans will also receive a 2010 team photo and fans 16 and under will receive also receive a concourse game voucher sponsored by Kannapolis Parks and Recreation. It is also Mascot Mania with various team mascots in attendance as well as Teacher Appreciation Night sponsored by Just the Thing.
The Intimidators are enjoying their 16th season of play as an organization. This organization has produced such talents as Jimmy Rollins, Gordon Beckham and NFL star Ricky Williams.
