Intimidators Get 7-4 Win

Rome, GA - The Kannapolis Intimidators take game one of a four game series against the Rome Braves by a score of 7-4.

Kannapolis put a run on the board in the first inning on a run scoring ground out by Trey Michalczewski. The Braves answered back and took the lead on a two run single by Victor Reyes for the 2-1 score. A solo homerun in the second by Tyler Williams tied the game at 2-2. Rome regained the lead 3-2 on an RBI single by Dan Carroll in the bottom of the second. The Intimidators tied the game in the fourth thanks to Omar Narvaez's run scoring single and took a two run lead the next inning on an RBI single by Tyler Shryock and a sacrifice fly RBI by Cleuluis Rondon. Kannapolis added two insurance runs in the eight and Rome got a run in the ninth for the 7-4 final.

Dylan Chavez (2-1) picks up the win while Andry Ubiera (0-3) gets the loss.
