
Intimidators Celebrating the Fourth in Style

(Kannapolis, NC) â The Intimidators are celebrating Independence Day in style with three days of fireworks and capping it off with a Christian music concert followed by fireworks on Sunday.
The party kicks off on Friday, July 4th when the Intimidators host the Hagerstown Suns at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium with the first pitch at 7:05pm. Post-Game fireworks presented by CT Communications follow the game celebrating the nation's birthday.
The Fourth of July is also the first Christmas in July night for the 2003 season. CT Communications and the Intimidators have teamed up to support underprivileged families in the community. The promotion, entering its second year, is designed to generate food, new toy and monetary donations for the Cooperative Christian Ministry. Over 1 ton of food and nearly 300 brand new toys were collected in its inaugural season.
Fans are asked to make a donation at the stadium. Each donation will be rewarded with two general admission tickets for that night's game and an additional prize courtesy of CT Communications and the Kannapolis Intimidators. July 6th, July 10th, July 24th, July 25th and July 27th have also been designated as "Christmas In July" nights.
On July 5th, its Nurses Appreciation Night and Cabarrus Business and Lifestyle Night with post-game fireworks presented by North East Medical Center.
The weekend celebration concludes on Sunday with a Christian Music concert after the game with a post-game fireworks show presented by Kings Way Baptist Church.
