Kannapolis, NC;The Kannapolis Intimidators (18-35) lost to the Asheville Tourists (31-23), by a final score of 4-0, Wednesday at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium. Despite the loss, the Intimidators got a brilliant outing from SP Derek Rodriguez. Rodriguez gave up no ER in 6.1 IP, while striking out 6 and walking 0. For the Tourists, Jason Van Kooten picked up an RBI sacrifice fly in the 4th, which was all the scoring Asheville needed. Chaz Roe picked up the win, allowing just 2 H and no runs in 6 IP. David Patton nailed down the save, his 3rd, in 2 innings of hitless ball. The Intimidators have now lost a season-high 9 straight games.
