International OHL Talent Auditioning for World Junior Roles

Several European players from across the OHL have been named to World Junior Hockey Championship preliminary rosters for their respective countries.

A number of standouts including goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (Finland/Sudbury Wolves), blueliner Dmitri Samorukov (Russia/Guelph Storm) and teammates Nando Eggenberger (Switzerland/Oshawa Generals) and Nico Gross (Switzerland/Oshawa Generals) appear poised to make their return to the annual National Junior Championship that will take place in Vancouver and Victoria, BC later this month.

The below names will attend World Junior Selection Camps with their respective countries in addition to the preliminary rosters already named by Canada and the United States last week.
