Inter Miami CF and Global Institute of Sport (GIS) Open GIS' First North American Campus at DRV PNK Stadium

Inter Miami CF and Global Institute of Sport (GIS) opened GIS' first North American campus at DRV PNK Stadium this week. The home of Inter Miami CF, DRV PNK Stadium, becomes the first stadium in the Western Hemisphere to serve as a permanent university campus, offering sports business and management degrees for professionals in the industry led by GIS, the Master's arm of the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB) in the UK.

The Global Institute of Sport hosted their inaugural Graduate Degree sessions at DRV PNK Stadium on Monday, February 7, followed by a launch event and ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday night. The ceremony included remarks from the Mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Dean Trantalis, Inter Miami CF CEO and Managing Owner Jorge Mas and Chairman of the Global Institute of Sport, Brendan Flood.

Candidates in the program are pursuing a Master of Science in Sports Directorship. The week-long in-person schedule consists of guest lectures from Inter Miami CF Chief Soccer Officer and Sporting Director Chris Henderson, Inter Miami CF Head Coach, Phil Neville, Master Trainer at MVP Results, Cindy Moran, CEO at Sportsology, Barry McNeil and Technical Director, Mike Rigg.
