Edinburg, TX - Robert Matlock hit a go-ahead inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning to send the Edinburg Coyotes (25-33) to a 3-1 win over the Harlingen WhiteWings (17-40) tonight at Edinburg Stadium.

Eric Montoya (7-2) threw four no-hit innings, allowing just two base runners (hit batters), to start the game. But for the second time in three-game, Joel Gonzalez broke up a no-hitter in his second at-bat by singling. Trey Hendricks followed with his first RBI-double as a WhiteWing to make it 1-0.

Alex Gett (2-7) was pitching a shutout through six, stranding six Coyotes runners, including four at third base.

In the seventh, though, Gett allowed a leadoff single Mayobanex Santana and a one-out walk to Alex Entrekin in the seventh. With two outs, Bobby Darling came in and gave up an inside-the-park home run to Robert Matlock to make it 3-1 Coyotes.

Luke Prihoda pitched a scoreless ninth for his second save.
