The Chicago Cubs have made the following roster moves that impact the Myrtle Beach Pelicans roster:

INF Wladimir Galindo has been placed on the 7-day Injured List

OF D.J. Wilson has been activated from the 7-day Injured List

Wilson, a returner to Myrtle Beach from a season ago, was hitting .130/.250/.159 in 20 games and was 6-for-6 in stolen bases for the Pelicans before being placed on the Injured List on May 3. He has made three assists from the outfield in 2019 as well. In 2018, Wilson played in 64 games with Myrtle Beach, hitting .219/.315/.287 while stealing 10 bases. Drafted out of Canton South High School in Canton, Ohio in the fourth round of the 2015 draft by the Cubs, Wilson is an incredible athlete. While in high school, he was recruited to play wide receiver for both Penn State and Ohio State.

The Pelicans roster now sits at 25 active with four on the Injured List.

Wilson will wear No. 4.
