WINSTON-SALEM, NC (MAY 11, 2011) - The Winston-Salem Dash announced that INF Kyle Davis has been reinstated from the disabled list and released by the Chicago White Sox.
Davis appeared in 15 games for the Dash this season, all at shortstop. He hit .096 (5-for-52) with two RBI, and was placed on the disabled list on April 29.
Winston-Salem concludes its seven-game home stand Wednesday night at 7 p.m. against Potomac. The Dash have a scheduled off-day Thursday before starting a series against Salem in the Roanoke Valley Friday at 7:05 p.m. Winston returns to BB&T Ballpark Monday, when the team welcomes Myrtle Beach for a 7 p.m. start.
