The Birmingham Barons and Chicago White Sox have announced that INF Jamie Pedroza has been released. Roster at 24.
Pedroza, the team's primary shortstop during the 2014 season, was signed as a free agent on November 13, 2013. In 78 games this season, he hit .225 (65-for-289) with five home runs, 12 doubles, three triples, 34 runs scored 35 RBI.
