Indians Tricera-Topped on Dinosaur Night, 4-3
June 1, 2024 - Northwest League (NWL)
Spokane Indians News Release
Spokane's offense struggled to generate anything against Everett starter Michael Morales (5-1) and a late rally came up just short as the home squad fell to the AquaSox, 4-3, in front of 4,595 fans at Avista Stadium for Dinosaur Night presented by The UPS Store & KXLY 4 News Now. Despite the loss, the Indians (26-19) remain 2.5 games up on Eugene for the Northwest League's top spot.
TOP PERFORMERS
Chase Dollander (1-1) didn't have his best stuff but kept the Indians in the game with a workmanlike performance: 5 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 6 K. Kyle Karros had two hits and two RBIs while Cole Carrigg and Dyan Jorge both finished with a pair of hits in the loss.
Bullpen ace Carson Skipper tossed a scoreless ninth inning to lower his ERA to a miniscule 0.43 in 19 appearances with Spokane this year.
