INDIANAPOLIS - Wilfredo Boscan pitched six innings of two-hit ball and Mel Rojas Jr. drove in the go-ahead run in the bottom of the eighth as the Indianapolis Indians salvaged a series split with a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Clippers on Sunday afternoon at Victory Field.

Boscan struck out six while extending the Tribe's scoreless streak to 19 innings through Sunday's fifth frame.

Working into the sixth, the right-hander induced a routine grounder from Adam Moore, who reached safely and scored on a pair of Indians throwing errors.

Elias Diaz coaxed a one-out walk in the eighth, took second on a wild pitch and was singled home as the game-winner by Rojas.

Deolis Guerra struck out two through the seventh and eighth and John Holdzkom fanned one in the ninth to nail down the save.

Chris Stewart, on rehab assignment from the Pittsburgh Pirates, finished 2-for-4 while plating the Tribe's first run.
