Impact Soccer Schools in Trois-Rivieres

TROIS-RIVIERES - The Montreal Impact and the Rebelles de l'Est soccer club announced on Friday a three year partnership that will allow the pro club to offer soccer schools in Trois-Rivières, benefiting all the young players and coaches from the Mauricie region.

The first event is set for May 25, 26 and 27, at the Alphonse Desjardins Sports Complex. Young players from U6 to U16, groups based on their ages, can take advantage of four sessions, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.

"I played with the Trois-Rivières Attak in 2007 and 2008, so I know to what point the soccer community is active in the Mauricie," declared Olivier Brett, director of the Impact Soccer Schools. "We are present all over the province and it is with great pleasure that we make our way to Trois-Rivières."

Practices will be conducted by coaches and players from the Impact Academy. Participants will benefit from the professionalism and personal attention from the coaches, who will share their expertise in life and professional sports.

A coaching seminar is available for regional instructors on Friday night, and they may also attend the training sessions over the weekend to see how the theory is put into practice.
