Chivas USA (3-4-0) fell 1-0, Saturday night in front of 14,127 fans at The Home Depot Center to the Philadelphia Union (2-3-1), thanks to a Freddy Adu goal in the 40th minute. With the loss, the Goats remain at 9 points in the Western Conference.

Kennedy focused on doing his job for Rojiblancos

Chivas USA's Dan Kennedy has blossomed into one of the league's finest goalkeepers and now the humble 29-year-old shot stopper is dealing with a little added attention. Kennedy was the star in the Rojiblancos' 1-0 victory over Toronto FC making four saves and earning MLS Player of the Week honors a couple of weeks ago. The Chivas netminder's stellar performance against Toronto had pundits and supporters singing Kennedy's praises and even led some to declare him a potential candidate for the US national team. The 'keeper certainly has the numbers to date - he is currently in fifth place in the league with 24 just two behind leader Matt Pickens.
