IFL Announces 2011 Regular Season Schedule

MIDLAND, TX. : The Indoor Football League has officially announced on Friday, October 29 the 2011 regular season schedule. All teams will play a 14-game regular season schedule and for the third consecutive season the West Texas Roughnecks will open the 2011 season on the road. The Roughnecks will face the Allen Wranglers in week one on Monday, February 28 with the 2011 home-opener set for Friday, March 25 versus the Amarillo Venom. The Roughnecks will enter the 2011 season as a member of the Intense Conference, and as a member of the newly formatted Lone Star Division. The division consists of the Roughnecks, Allen Wranglers, Amarillo Venom, and the newly established team based in Oklahoma City.
With the exception of the first home game on Friday, March 25 versus Amarillo, all Roughnecks home games will kickoff Saturday evenings from the Ector County Coliseum in Odessa. Nine of the 14 games on the Roughnecks 2011 schedule will be against division-based opponents, and four out of the last five games on the Roughnecks schedule will be at home. The following is the West Texas Roughnecks 2011 regular season schedule.
