
IF Justin Toole Joins Aeros from Mahoning Valley

The Aeros made one more roster move today as IF Justin Toole was received from Class A Mahoning Valley.
Toole joins Akron tonight and the 23-year-old has split the 2010 season with the short-season Scrappers, Class A Kinston and Class AAA Columbus. In 23 combined games, the native of Council Bluffs, IA has a .200 batting average with four runs scored and a stolen base. He played last season with the Scrappers and the AZL Indians, batting .266 in 23 games. The Indians signed Toole as a minor league free agent on July 7th, 2009 after a short stint with the independent Sioux City Explorers. As a senior at the University of Iowa in 2009, he batted .346 with 31 runs scored and 15 stolen bases in 38 games played.
The Aeros roster currently stands at 23 men + 1 on rehab assignment. In addition, OF Lucas Montero will be wearing #40 tonight as the team dons the classic Akron purple uniforms.
