Idaho releases initial training-camp roster

(Boise, ID) - Head coach Derek Laxdal has announced his training camp roster, as released by the ECHL on Friday:

Goaltenders (3): Richard Bachman, Rejean Beauchemin, Brandon Kohuch

Defensemen (11): Adam Welch, Riley Weselowski, Kyle Radke, Cody Lampl, Weston Tardy, Tyrell Mason, Brendan Milnamow, Derek May, Matt Sorteberg, Guillaume Monast, Brad Miller

Forwards (15): Adam Huxley, Ashton Rome, Brandan Kushniruk, Marty Flichel, Matt Cook, Matt McKnight, Casey Parenteau, Garrett Regan, Mark Derlago, Mike Olson, Matt Crowell, Chris Myers, Darrell May, Evan Barlow, Nick Sirota

The entire group will participate in the annual "NAMI Walk" on Saturday morning on Parkcenter Boulevard in Boise with two full-team workouts scheduled for Sunday at Qwest Arena.

Exhibition games will be played Friday (Oct. 9) in Logan, UT, and Saturday (Oct. 10) at the Manchester Ice and Events Centre in McCall.  Both exhibition games will be against the Utah Grizzlies.  The regular season opens on October 16 when the Steelheads host the Stockton Thunder.

Season-ticket packages for the 2009-2010 season remain available, starting at $450 per seat for all 36 home games.  Partial-season plans begin at just $150 per seat.  New this season is the all-inclusive "Gold Membership."  Contact the Steelheads front office at 208.383.0080 or log on to www.idahosteelheads.com for more information.
