
IceHogs Battle Iowa in First Winning Weekday

Rockford, Ill. - With four regular season games under their belt and two on home ice, the Rockford IceHogs (1-3-0-0) look to win their first contest at the BMO Harris Bank Center against the Iowa Wild (1-2-1-1) tonight at 7 p.m.
The IceHogs rank sixth with two points in the Central Division. The Wild, sitting in the fourth spot in the division with four points, come to the BMO fresh off an overtime loss (3-2) against the Milwaukee Admirals last night in Iowa.
Fans in attendance tonight will have the opportunity to take advantage of the new Winning Weekdays promotion. Every time the IceHogs win at home on a weekday, each fan in attendance can redeem a free ticket to the next weekday game. The ticket is good for equal or lesser value, and while supply lasts. Fans can also enjoy $2 beers, hot dogs, and companion tickets.

Tonight's contest will be the first of five meetings within the next month between the Central Division rivals. The teams will face off at the BMO Harris Bank Center once again on Fri., Oct. 30.
Rockford will try to build off of last season's success against Iowa. Dennis Rasmussen, who led the team in goals when the team went 6-2-0-0 against the Wild (3), will once again be in the lineup. Iowa is bringing back some power of their own with Michael Keranen, who tallied six assists versus the IceHogs during the 2014-15 season.
