Amerks Recall McPherson from Elmira

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has recalled forward Allan McPherson from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
McPherson, 24, has recorded a team-leading three points (1+2) through the first two games of the season for Elmira. Last season, McPherson recorded eight points (3+5) and four penalty minutes in 44 AHL games with the Amerks. He also registered 23 points (8+15) and 18 penalty minutes in 24 ECHL games with Elmira. In 2013-14, McPherson appeared in five AHL games and recorded one assist with the Abbotsford Heat after completing his collegiate career at Clarkson University, where the 5-foot-10, 180-pound native of Kinburn, Ontario, registered 103 points (41+62) and 88 penalty minutes in 150 games over four seasons.
