IceDogs Add Danil Gushchin

Niagara, Ont.- The Niagara IceDogs are excited to announce the addition of Danil Gushchin. Gushchin was previously signed by Niagara in 2020 and has officially been reassigned from San Jose.
"This is an absolutely huge addition for us and one we have been working towards for two years. We signed Danil ahead of last season and were very excited to have him join us prior to the league shutdown. To be able to have him return to us this year is huge for our program and even more important for this year's group. Danil is an incredibly exciting addition for us and he has fit in great with the guys already".
Said IceDogs General Manager, Joey Burke.
"He really is the whole package on and off the ice and is a guy who will become a fan favourite in Niagara right away. We couldn't be more excited to add Danil officially today and I can't wait for the season ahead!"
With the addition of Danil Gushchin, based on OHL rules, regulations and protocols surrounding import players, the Niagara IceDogs have returned Alex Graham to his former club in England.
Burke shares his insight.
"We can't thank Alex enough for his time here in Niagara. Alex is a great young man and a great player who did everything we asked of him in Niagara and really showed very well. The unfortunate reality in this league is that you can only carry two imports. So, unfortunately, this is the end of the road this year for Alex. But, he is a guy who we plan to continue to follow closely and he absolutely has a very bright future ahead of him".
