Sudbury Wolves News Release
(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that Sean Morton will join the Wolves organization as the Team Pastor for the 2021-22 season.
"We are really happy to add Sean to our staff," said Sudbury Wolves VP & General Manager Rob Papineau. "He is a tremendous resource to our players and staff. His predecessor Rev Jeremy Mahood was so important to helping our team and to be able to move forward with Sean is a blessing. In today's game the importance of helping our players connect and become professional gentleman of character is a key component of our program," he added. Sean Morton has been a pastor for over 20 years in multiple roles, most recently as the new Lead Pastor at All Nations Church in downtown Sudbury.
"Being a lifelong hockey fan, I am excited to be part of the Wolves organization," said Morton. "I look forward to supporting the Wolves extended community, including the players, coaches, management team and fans."
Sean is thrilled to support the Wolves organization and looks forward to deepening relationships in the organization with the players, coaches, and management.
Following this weekend's double header pre-season action, the Wolves will open the 2021-22 regular season at home against the Peterborough Petes on Friday October 8th at 7:05pm. Tickets for Friday and Sunday's exhibition games as well as the home opener are on-sale now at greatersudbury.ca/tickets and at the Sudbury Arena Box Office.
