
IceCaps Sign Luc-Olivier Blain to PTO

BRAMPTON, ON - The Brampton Beast, ECHL affiliate of the St. John's IceCaps and Montreal Canadiens, announce today that forward Luc-Olivier Blain has been signed to a Professional Tryout Contract and will join the IceCaps for their upcoming road trip.
Blain joins the IceCaps after having played some of his greatest hockey of the season. He is currently on a four-game point streak with the Beast and has scored a goal in each of his last three games.
This season, the Longueuil, Quebec native has suited up for 13 games for the Beast this season and recorded four goals and four assists.
Blain, 26, has never played a game in the American Hockey League.
The Beast are back in action this Friday, November 27 as they head to Toledo to take on the Walleye at 7:15 PM. After a stop in Wheeling to face the Nailers on Saturday night, the team returns to the Powerade Centre on Sunday to take on the Elmira Jackals at 2:00 PM. Single game tickets are now available, starting at $16.25. Trial Packs for the 2015-16 season are also available starting at $39.99 that include three game tickets.
